Happy Doodles Method - Doodling for Emotional Wellbeing
There is something magical that happens when a room full of people pick up a crayon and just start doodling!
Happy Doodles focuses on self-expression, emotional wellbeing, and connection. Drawing on the Happy Doodles Method, using accessible, low-pressure doodling activities to help participants explore their feelings, spark imagination, and build confidence in a supportive environment.
Endorsed by Will Adams, Hull City Council Public Mental Health Lead, supporting Hulls 'Mentally Healthy' Strategy.
Licensable program tailored for schools, community groups, councils, and organisations. Designed to be inclusive, playful, and process-led, prioritising participation and personal growth over perfect outcomes.

Testimonials:
"We were delighted to welcome Jodie into Year 3 to deliver an engaging and creative art workshop. Jodie immediately captured the children's interest with a fun doodling activity, encouraging them to explore their creativity and express their ideas confidently. She then expertly guided the children through the process of transferring their 'happy' sketches onto iPads, introducing them to digital art in an accessible and exciting way.
Jodie was patient, understanding and highly skilled at supporting all children to participate and succeed. She created a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child felt valued and encouraged to share their work. The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and were incredibly proud of the artwork they produced. They really enjoyed looking through Jodie's sketch books, published book and asking her lots of questions.
We are very grateful for Jodie's time, enthusiasm and expertise, and we would highly recommend her workshops to other schools and organisations." Emily Robinson, SENCO, Thoresby Primary School
"Amazing ! My daughter looks forward to it. Jodie has put a lot of effort into creating a fun, interactive, varied and creative class! She is very personable and great with the little ones. I highly recommend trying it!" Laura, Parent“What a pleasure it was to welcome Jodie into our preschool to share her wonderful story with the children. Mindfulness and mental health are topics we strive to incorporate into everyday practice, so this visit and mindfulness workshop went a long way in supporting all that we’re striving to achieve.” Summer, Newport Pre-school Manager.
"The children loved our session with Happy Doodles! Talking about our emotions and how we feel about starting school, we drew colours around ourselves relating to the emotions of the colour monster and Jodie’s book 'bipolar blob’. We are really looking forward to having another session with Happy Doodles in the future! Thank you, Jodie" Brambley Lodge Pre-School, South Cave.
